Watt-bike based training provides an actual report of exactly what your rides are in terms of intensity, duration and total workload. It adds a level of precision to workouts. It’s also an objective measure of progress since the ability to sustain higher or lower watts gives a good indication of fitness. And it can help develop a better sense of actual workload relative to perceived exertion, which can help you learn to better modulate power output.
